Good Cashback and Other Advantages for Your Wallet With Wise

We all know how important it is to have a proper finance management app or service as freelancers - and most importantly, as business owners.

Personally speaking, I find one app useful for international exchanges, whether receiving money from clients, withdrawing in a foreign country, or leveraging the cashback… Well, that app is Wise.

I used to have N26 as my main bank account, but the main inconvenience is that it only accepts EUR, and can only hold EUR. It's not a great choice for international travel.

So, I then paired it with Revolut, which has the added benefit of providing a multicurrency wallet. And, if you're into trading and grasping crypto and investments, you can also leverage lots of services dedicated to that within the app.

But there is something clunky about Revolut UX that I don't like. Plus there is no cashback - nor there is in N26, at least for the free personal plans that I used.

That's when I discovered Wise. Wise is the best if you're often traveling and juggling with several currencies. Plus, it has all the main features you'd expect to have in a modern mobile bank app (although Wise is not exactly a bank to the day I'm writing this).

Think of it more like a digital wallet which is very good at its job. And - this is the reason for my total switch over to Wise - I have a good cashback on the money I hold on my Wise account.

In particular, there is a very good cashback rate for money held in USD in your account. For instance, if you have 5,000 USD in your account, you will get something like 10 USD each month as a cashback reward, just for keeping your money with Wise.

I find this added feature very valuable to have some sort of small-scale investment going on, without really investing or trading - I'm not personally into that.

The USD cashback rate is also the reason why I started charging USD as my regular currency for translations, editing, and whatnot, instead of Europe (I'm originally from Italy).

Plus, I must say that everything on the UX side of things is very intuitive and explained with simple words, instead of overcomplicated legalese or financial terms.

With Wise, I always have a clear understanding of the fees I have to pay for each transfer to other countries and persons, for exchanges of currency, and well, you name it!

If you happen to need a solid online wallet to store your money safely and smartly, I can't recommend Wise enough!
